The Duplicate Record Remover is for finding duplicate contact and
customer records in a database and providing a
software tool to merge those duplicate records back into a single record again.
This tool examines large customer/contact/client/marketing database
lists and uses a fuzzy-logic algorithm to identify any duplicate records.
The fuzzy-logic technique is clever enough to identify duplicate records
even when names and addresses are misspelt, incorrectly entered or abbreviated.
After examining the records, it automatically merges any clear duplicate
records it finds, while also providing the user a simple tool to examine
and confirm any less-than-certain matches.
